Earth Day is just around the corner. In fact, tomorrow our town is putting on a huge Earth Day Event and I am taking my 4 grandchildren with me to experience the full measure of it. Now, all we need is a nice day for it. Rain can wait.

Bottled Water Costs Too Much

It costs too much in many ways. Ask yourself: Why am I buying bottled water? Is it because it’s “the cool” thing to do? Or, because you think it’s cleaner, as in less polluted, than your tap water? In many ways, bottled water is less regulated than tap water and thus the quality is at best unreliable. Obviously, safe drinking water is important to you.

The water piped into your house costs you almost nothing, whereas bottled water costs you anywhere from 30 cents to several dollars for a “to-go” 8-12 oz bottle. Compostable Eating Utensils and Dinnerware?

Disposable dinnerware such as paper plates, plastic utensils, dishes and containers must have been invented in this practical USA and this practicality has circled the globe.
